How do the different EVIOS One modes work?Updated 2 years ago

We have three modes:

Pure Speed: This will start your charging session immediately when the vehicle is plugged in, and charge at the full speed allowed by the charge point and the car. It will use any available home generated energy and will top up with grid energy. Ideal for when you need a quick turnaround.

Pure Value: This will schedule charging to start when your energy tariff provides the cheapest energy, including taking any home energy production into account, meaning that you reduce the cost of charging without the need to set complicated schedules yourself.

If you have home produced energy, during peak periods your vehicle will charge using this supply - the vehicle may not charge at full speed during this time.

During off peak periods, your car will charge using any home produced energy available and will top up using grid energy.

Pure GreenBy using energy from solar panels or other home energy production, your vehicle will be charged as sustainably as possible.  As the charge point is only using energy from your home production, the vehicle may not charge at full speed.

To charge on Pure Green, you'll need to have a home produced energy source connected with a wired CT clamp (this device monitors the energy produced by your home generation source).  This clamp is connected when your charge point is installed.  To charge on Pure Value, you'll need to add your energy tariff information in the app settings.
