I have an FF21 error code, what do I do?Updated 2 years ago

If you have received a FF21 error code the charge point has been disabled.

The unit has received a remote device lockout command from EVIOS Plc. This will be due to non-communication with the EVIOS server for more than 28 days. It is a requirement under the Government Smart Regs that charge points are able to receive communications from the server.

To resolve follow the below instructions:

  • Disconnect and reconnect the hub by unplugging it and plugging it in again - look for 3 green lights.

  • If the Server light is red, check the ethernet connection between the hub and the router.

  • If the Connect light is red, try restarting the charge point and/or move the hub closer to the charge point if possible.

  • Until the charge point is fully connected to the server, the charge point will not be able to be used. When the hub shows 3 green lights, the charge point should restart.
